記得當初從上海來到千島湖，我嚮往的創作場所是在開放的自然空間，怎料後來卻被工作室旁的空間吸引。
它曾是一個豬圈，現在是一個半敞開的不規則幾何空間，對我而言，它既真實存在又似乎透明，有著神秘的磁場，不時地召喚我⋯⋯
在自然與駐留期間，上海的親友們因疫情正被困在栅格化的建築裡，這讓我開始重新思考人造空間裡的生活節奏，思考人與非自然空間的關係。
一個城市可以停滯，但信息和情緒卻在湧動；
一個空間敞開自己，人流卻繞過它沒有互動。

這個在地實驗項目雖然強調觀眾在場性，希望觀眾動態地參與其中，但又要弱化他們參與的痕跡：人們趟過小片濕地，然後在這個不大的空間內自由地行走，感知自己的節奏和步伐，那些腳印很快就消失不見，真正在場的是這些消失的痕跡。
通過此次實驗，我期待觀察人們在该空间所發生的一切，也期待人類身體與空間的互動能讓這個角落再次充滿流動的能量。
When I first came to Qiandao Lake from Shanghai, I was planning to make an art piece in the open. I didn’t expect that I would be drawn to a unique space next to the studio later. It used to be a pigsty and now is a semi-open irregular geometric space. Its existence seems transparent. It seems to have a mysterious magnetic field attracting me...
During my stay at the Nature+ artist residency, my relatives and friends in Shanghai were trapped in the gridded buildings due to the epidemic, which made me rethink the rhythm of life in man-made space and, in another word, our relationship with such non-natural spaces.
A city can come to a halt, but the information and the emotions still flow.
A space opens itself, but the crowd can bypass it without any interaction.
Although this on-site experimental project is to emphasize the presence of the audience and their active participation, I choose to weaken the traces of their participation by using water as a medium. People are invited to walk freely in this small space and to feel their rhythm and pace. Their footprints left behind will soon disappear. What is really present are those fading traces.
I look forward to everything that happens to people within this strange space through the on-site experiment. I also expect the interaction between human beings and the space can fill the corner with the flowing energy once again.
